One of the first headphones was the Forte VFX1 which was
announced at CES in 1994. The VFX-1 had stereoscopic features -axis brain-
tracking. Another leader within this discipline was Sony who produced the
Glasstron in 1997, which had an optional positional indicator which allowed the
user to view the environmental surroundings, with all the perspective while the
scalp moved, offering a serious impression of engagement transferring,. One
novel program of this technology was within the game MechWarrior 2, which
allowed users of the Sony Glasstron or Digital I/Eis iGlasses to look at a
brand new visual standpoint from inside the cockpit of the craft, utilizing
their own eyes as graphic and observing the battlefield through their craft's
own seat.
